Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira wants to sign Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.
What’s the story?
The British tabloid are reporting tonight (10:09pm) that Palace boss Vieira will make a loan bid for the 21-year-old winger.
Nelson is at the top of the Eagles’ list for a winger.
Arsenal could reportedly send the youngster out on loan this summer.
Good move for Reiss Nelson?
Nelson is a peripheral figure at Arsenal and is unlikely to play regularly for manager Mikel Arteta’s side next season.
The 21-year-old played just 70 minutes in the Premier League and only 244 minutes in the Europa League for the Gunners last season.
Vieira must really rate Nelson highly to be willing to take him on loan.

It should give the English youngster the confidence he needs to succeed.
Vieira is an Arsenal legend and one of the greatest footballers of all time.
There is no point in Nelson staying at Arsenal and not get any playing time for the first team.
The winger, described as “a special player” by Arsenal manager Arteta in The London Evening Standard in March 2020, is at a stage where he needs to be involved on a weekly basis.
A loan move to Palace would help him do that.
