Arsenal needed a last-gasp goal to draw with Crystal Palace on Monday night – and striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is far from happy.

The Gunners were hoping for a comfortable win, especially after taking an early lead through Aubameyang.

However, Arsenal were slack in the second half and were ultimately made to pay. Christian Benteke and Odsonne Edouard scored, turning the game on its head.

There was one last twist though. Benjamin White’s last-minute shot found it’s way to Alexandre Lacazette, who smashed the ball home for Arsenal.

A point is better than nothing, but this felt like a step backwards for Arsenal.

Spirits were high after three wins in a row, but draws with Brighton and Palace have left fans disappointed.

Arsenal’s senior players need to demand more after a disappointing couple of results, and £250k-a-week captain Aubameyang has stepped forward.

Aubameyang has taken to Instagram to state that this just wasn’t good enough for a home game.

The Gabon ace even claimed that Arsenal ‘stopped playing’ after they went 1-0 up.

Aubameyang praised Arsenal’s substitutes, congratulating Lacazette on his late goal.
