Arsenal reportedly have a plan to sign Youssef En-Nesyri on the cheap.
The 24-year-old Sevilla hitman is getting a fine reputation on the continent and has netted three goals in seven Liga games this season.
He is rated at around £38 million and La Razon has reported that Arsenal could offer Alexandre Lacazette as a sweetener to lower the asking price.
Lacazette is out of contract at the Emirates Stadium next summer and getting En-Nesyri could be a fine replacement – especially if it’s on the cheap.
Quicker than Haaland
The Morocco international, who scored 28 goals for the Spanish side last season, has a big future.
Yes he is 24 but there’s still so much more to come from the player – particularly in the right team.
En-Nesyri was one of the five-quickest players in the Champions League last season and even clocked a higher top speed than Erling Haaland at Borussia Dortmund.
Haaland only managed 31 Km/h but the Arsenal-linked star clocked a whopping 33.1 km/h.
This will entice the North Londoners because honestly, they need pace.
Okay they have Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang up front, a lightning bolt during his prime, but the former Dortmund marksman is 32 and from here on in, his speed will gradually decline.
And no doubt that if Mikel Arteta and Edu genuinely want En-Nesyri, speed will something that the Arsenal find very intriguing and could potentially swing it.
