Arsenal could be set to make a big mistake this summer as they have struck an agreement for the exit of one promising striker.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have had a frustrating transfer window so far as they have missed out on their top striker target Benjamin Sesko.
HITC had reported that the Slovenian striker was the club’s top striker target this summer but Sesko agreed to sign a new deal at RB Leipzig which included a release clause that will become active in 2025.
As well as this, the Gunners’ top midfield target, Martin Zubimendi, is also proving to be difficult for the Gunners to sign with Arsenal prepared to move onto different targets.

With Sesko remaining in Germany this summer, a forward signing remains high on the list of priorities but the Gunners have made a decision on one player.
The Athletic reports that Arsenal have agreed a fee of £4milllion with Sturm Graz for the permanent transfer of forward Mika Biereth.
Biereth spent the second half of last season at Sturm Graz and the 21-year-old scored nine goals and provided four assists for the Austrian side.
This successful loan spell in Austria followed another loan stint for Biereth at Scottish Premiership side Motherwell during the first half of last season as he scored six goals and laid on a further five assists.
Whilst Arsenal will reportedly make a profit on the sale of Biereth, after purchasing the forward from Fulham in 2021, this could be a mistake by the Gunners.

Sturm Graz have a history of developing players for profit, Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund is a big example of this.
Biereth, who Jamal Musiala once labelled as a ‘top player’, could be the next striker that the Austrian side develop and sell one for a profit.
The Scottish Daily Mail, during Biereth’s time at Motherwell, described the forward as ‘scintillating’ and it does seem a mistake for the Gunners to let the forward go without another loan move.
With Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus the current forward options, with Eddie Nketiah potentially on his wayout, having a young, promising forward in their ranks might have been a smart idea.
Arsenal have made a profit for now but in a years time, the North London club could well rue their decision to sell the Danish striker.
