Arsenal are thought to be chasing the signature of PSV Eindhoven star Cody Gakpo – a player who grew up absolutely loving Thierry Henry.
The Gunners already have star wingers like Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka, with Emile Smith Rowe and Nicolas Pepe on the fringes.
Yet they are still being linked with a big move for Gakpo, who is shining at PSV this season.
The Athletic reported in March that Arsenal have had serious discussions about signing Gakpo this summer.
Gakpo can allegedly leave PSV for £35million this summer with Arsenal battling Liverpool, Barcelona and Bayern Munich in the race.
It’s no shock to see clubs queuing up to sign Gakpo this summer.
Gakpo has racked up a ridiculous 17 goals and 15 assists across all competitions this season, emerging as a real star over in the Eredivisie.
Much like his former teammate Steven Bergwijn, it now looks like Gakpo could earn a Premier League move off the back of his PSV displays.
At just 22, Gakpo appears to have a huge future ahead of him and picking the right club will be crucial this summer.
Gakpo has now spoken to The Sun about his future but also his football origins – including his love for Arsenal.

Gakpo has admitted that anybody would want to play in the Premier League at some point in time.
The winger added that, whilst he doesn’t particularly favour one team, he does like Arsenal ‘a lot’.
That’s because Gakpo grew up loving Thierry Henry because of their similar styles, being fairly tall but starting as a left-sided winger.
Henry became a striking sensation at Arsenal, and whilst that may not happen for Gakpo, his comments may just mean that Arsenal have a strong chance of a deal.
“Everybody wants to play one time in the Prem. I don’t favour one team but I like Arsenal a lot,” said Gakpo. “I looked up to Henry when I was younger because he was a tall guy who played on the wing,” he added.
