Arsenal are eyeing Christian Pulisic and he would find a close friend at the Emirates Stadium in goalkeeper Matt Turner.

The Gunners are likely to focus on signing a winger in 2023.

Fans would love to see Mykhaylo Mudryk arrive from Shakhtar Donetsk and he is certainly on Arsenal’s radar.

There have also been links to Orlando City wide man Facundo Torres but Arsenal could yet sign a winger a little closer to home.

Arsenal are eyeing Christian Pulisic

The Daily Mail report that Arsenal are interested in signing Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic.

It’s claimed that Arsenal like that Pulisic can play in a variety of roles across the attack and could move to sign him.

Pulisic, 24, isn’t starting as many games as he would like at Chelsea but the Blues will only accept a permanent deal – not a loan.

That leaves the ball in Arsenal’s court with Chelsea seeking around £35million to sell the American.

Pulisic once excelled at Borussia Dortmund but hasn’t quite managed to recapture that form at Stamford Bridge.

Can Mikel Arteta get the best out of him? He’s certainly worked wonders for the likes of Gabriel Martinelli, Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka.

It’s also notable that Pulisic is a hugely marketable player in America – where the Kroenke family, who own Arsenal, hail from.

This move could suit the Gunners and he would find a close pal at the Emirates Stadium if he does make the move across London.

Arsenal signed United States goalkeeper Matt Turner over the summer and he told the club’s official website that he is ‘good friends’ with Pulisic.

Turner was looking forward to being in London so he could spend time with Pulisic and they could now end up joining forces at Arsenal.

Having that familiarity with a teammate is always great for any new players and if Pulisic ends up at Arsenal, Turner would be an invaluable resource for him in terms of looking to settle.
