Arsenal striker Khayon Edwards has signed a contract with the club amid interest from Chelsea, according to The Athletic.
The Athletic are reporting this morning that 18-year-old striker Edwards has signed a long-term contract with Arsenal that will see him stay at the Emirates Stadium until 2025, with the option of a further year.
Chelsea and Brighton and Hove Albion are keen on the youth prospect, but he is now set to stay at the Emirates Stadium.
Khayon Edwards a future Arsenal star
In our opinion, Khayon Edwards is one for the future and is not ready for the Arsenal first team yet.
After all, Edwards is only 18 years of age and has been playing for the Gunners’ youth teams so far.

The Athletic have claimed that the teenager will continue to play for the Arsenal Under-23 side and will try to break into the senior side.
That Arsenal have so much faith in Edwards that they have decided to hand him a professional contract should motivate the teenager even more to do well and establish himself in the Gunners’ first team in the coming years.
The Gunnerscould have a gem in the teenage striker, and it will be interesting to see how he develops and progresses in the coming years.
