Arsenal midfielder Charlie Patino has said on the NepentheZ live Facebook stream that his teammate and striker Alexandre Lacazette has impressed manager Mikel Arteta in training.
Patino has said that he hopes that Arsenal striker Lacazette stays at the Gunners beyond the end of the season.
The 30-year-old France international striker is out of contract at the Gunners in the summer of 2022.
Patino said about Lacazette on the NepentheZ live Facebook stream, as transcribed by TheBootRoom: “I do as well [want him to stay].
“I don’t know any information on him, if he’s staying or not, I know as much as you, but he’s working hard in training and doing what the manager wants from him and leading the line with the armband, so he’s obviously doing something right.”

What should Arsenal do with Alexandre Lacazette?
In our view, Arsenal have a really tough decision regarding the future of Lacazette.
The Freshman will be 31 in May, and handing him a new two or three-year deal would be risky and would not be great from a business perspective.
However, Lacazette has stepped up whenever needed and is a good influence on the youngsters.
The former Lyon star did well last season and is doing well this campaign as well.
Lacazette scored 13 goals in 22 Premier League starts for Arsenal last season.
The Arsenal no. 9 has scored three goals and provided three assists in 10 league starts so far this campaign.
In our opinion, Lacazette will play a big role for Arsenal in the coming weeks and months, as Arteta’s side aim to finish in the Premier League top four.
