Gary Lineker has raved about Cesc Fabregas on BBC Match of the Day: Top 10 podcast and has outlined the career he has had since he left Arsenal.

The former Tottenham Hotspur striker has been impressed by the career Fabregas has had since he burst onto the scene at Arsenal as a teenager.

The BBC Match of the Day presenter has also praised the former Arsenal midfielder for his quality as a pundit.

Lineker said about Fabregas on BBC Match of the Day: Top 10 podcast: “What a career he has gone on to! He has won absolutely everything in the game, but somehow lost out on the Champions League.

“Lost in the final for Arsenal and didn’t manage to win it somehow with that amazing Barcelona side during the period he was there. He is good, really good (as a pundit). Lovely guy, too. He has got it all. How irritating!”
