Arsenal defender Cedric Soares is seemingly open to leaving the club this summer as he chases first-team action elsewhere.
That’s according to Football London, who claim that Cedric isn’t closing any doors when it comes to a potential summer exit.
It sounds like Cedric would be at least interested in hearing what other clubs have to offer in the summer transfer window.
Cedric still has two-and-a-half years left on his Arsenal deal, so the Gunners would be expecting a fee for his services.
Cedric was a surprise Arsenal signing in 2020, arriving from Premier League rivals Southampton.
In January, the Daily Mail reported that Atletico Madrid were interested in signing Cedric as a replacement for Kieran Trippier.
The transfer window ended with Cedric still at Arsenal though, and the 30-year-old may now fancy leaving the Emirates Stadium.
This season, Cedric has started just two Premier League games this season, making an additional two substitute appearances.
Cedric does have two assists in four League Cup outings, but he is certainly behind Takehiro Tomiyasu in Arsenal’s pecking order.

Branded ‘gifted’ by Mikel Arteta, Cedric is clearly a well-respected squad player at Arsenal but is never going to be first-choice.
Arsenal are being linked with other right backs, with Middlesbrough’s Djed Spence believed to be a prime target.
Arsenal looking towards Spence suggests they may already know that Cedric may be looking to move on this summer.
If there are no takers for Cedric, we may end up seeing Spence head elsewhere – such as bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
