Aston Villa fans have provided their reaction on Twitter after a report emerged linking Douglas Luiz with a move to Arsenal.
90Min have claimed that Arsenal are considering a move for the midfielder, who has been outstanding for his side since the restart.
He started Villa’s 1-0 win over the Gunners last time out and will be crucial today as his side battle to stay in the Premier League.
Dean Smith’s men take on West Ham United knowing if they match or better Watford or Bournemouth’s result then they will survive unless there is a crazy goal swing.
If Villa were to survive then it would make it that more difficult for Arsenal to try and secure Luiz’s services, as eluded to by the Villa fans.
But if the Midlands side were to drop then a number of their star players, including Luiz, would attract the interest of those in England’s top-flight.
Villa fans feel them staying up is key in keeping Luiz at the club and if they do lose him then they think it would be to Manchester City.
