Juventus fans have suggested that they should let Thomas Partey join Arsenal and focus on other targets.
Marca have claimed that Juve are now in the race to sign Partey from Atletico Madrid with Arsenal.
However, fans of the Italian club are less set upon seeing him join them.
Juventus supporters feel that they have enough midfield cover and they, therefore, feel that they should allow Arsenal to sign the Ghanian unchallenged.
If Juventus do listen to their supporters and look elsewhere that will surely be a boost to Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta’s side have been pushing hard to sign the midfielder so far this summer, although they have not quite been able to get a deal over the line.
Goal claim that Partey actually wants to join Arsenal, so the Gunners could still feel confident even if they do face competition for him.
But getting a deal done could prove problematic for Arteta’s side, unless they are able to sell some of their more valuable fringe players, as Atleti want £45 million for their star midfielder (Telegraph).
