One reported Arsenal target has had his price-tag slashed this week.
AS claimed in April that the Gunners were interested in signing Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele.
The France winger cost them an eye-watering £129 million [The Guardian] three years ago, but Arsenal could now reportedly pick him up for a lot less.
According to Marca, the Spanish giants are willing to take £53 million [€60m] for Dembele when the transfer window opens.
Injuries have hampered Dembele in a big way during his three-year stint at Camp Nou, and he’s injured now again.
But in terms of potential, he’s a monstrous talent – and still only 22.
However, Arsenal probably can’t afford him. With no Champions League revenue coming their way anytime soon, and a loss of millions due to the global health emergency, the North Londoners’ finances are going to be very tight for the foreseeable future.
And even £53 million still might be a bit too step for the Emirates Stadium club.
