Garth Crooks has urged Bukayo Saka on BBC Sport to leave Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the summer transfer window if the Gunners are unable to finish in the Champions League places.
The former Tottenham Hotspur forward believes that Arsenal attacker Saka is a very good player who is good enough to play in the Champions League.
Crooks made the comments about the 20-year-old England international following his performance for Arsenal against Watford in the Premier League at the weekend.
Saka scored a goal and provided an assist, for Arsenal won 3-2 against Watford away from home at Vicarage Road on Sunday.
Former Spurs player Crooks has included Saka in his BBC Premier League Team of the Week.
Crooks wrote on BBC Sport: “The reason the Gunners are still flirting with a top-four place is due largely to the brilliance of Bukayo Saka.
“The England international has grown tremendously since he played in the European championships and seems to glide through games these days.
“If Arsenal can’t provide Champions League football for the youngster then I suggest he finds it somewhere else. Talent like this shouldn’t hang around.”

Bukayo Saka is not leaving Arsenal
In our view, Saka is not going to leave Arsenal anytime soon.
Arsenal fans need not worry about that happening.
Even if the Gunners do not end up in the Premier League top four this season, we do not think that the North London club will lose him in the summer transfer window.
Saka is a Hale End academy graduate who loves Arsenal and is still only 20.
