Arsenal manager Unai Emery has spoken highly of Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino to Football.London.

Emery praised Pochettino ahead of the North London derby between Tottenham and Arsenal at Wembley Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Arsenal boss told Football.London about Pochettino: “He’s young. He has done a great job in all the teams in his career, especially here, in Tottenham.

“I have a lot of respect for him like a person, because he’s a good person but above all like a professional and a coach. He’s young and he’s going to do important things in football.

“I hope tomorrow won’t be the case. I know him, respect him a lot and he’s a very good coach.”

Brilliant manager

Pochettino has been in charge of Tottenham since the summer of 2014, and he has done a truly remarkable job.

Under the Argentine, Spurs have established themselves as regular challenges for the Premier League title and also feature in the Champions League season after season.

The North London outfit are still in the race for the Premier League title this season, although they will have the start winning matches in order to pile the pressure on Liverpool and Manchester City.

As for Emery, the former Sevilla and Paris Saint-Germain boss was appointed the Arsenal manager in the summer of 2018.

The Gunners have done well so far, and they are very much in with a chance of finishing in the top four of the Premier League this season.
