Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger sat down for an exclusive interview with beIN SPORTS, and singled out Tottenham duo Harry Kane and Dele Alli as two players who will be pivotal to England’s hopes of achieving success in the World Cup this summer.

Kane has been his usual brilliant self this season and has scored 35 goals in 39 outings in all competitions thus far.

Dele, meanwhile, has chalked up 10 goals and 16 assists in 42 appearances this term, and despite a slow start to the season, he seems to have found his feet again since the turn of the year.

Harry Kane and Dele Alli of Tottenham Hotspur celebrate after the Premier League match between Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur at Selhurst Park on February 25, 2018 in London, England.

Mauricio Pochettino has built a wonderfully talented group of players at Spurs, with up to five members of his side making up the nucleus of the England national team.

Wenger, though, chose to single out two Tottenham men as key players for England ahead of Russia 2018, when speaking exclusively to beIN SPORTS:

“England [could go to the final] because they have a good young generation, they are very efficient with Harry Kane and Dele Alli and all these players that score many goals now at international level.”

The Three Lions have their work cut-out in Russia, with the much fancied Belgians in their group, and the likes of Dele and Kane will have to be at their very best, if England are to enjoy success this summer.
