Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger comments on the injuries suffered by Jack Wilshere and Wojciech Szczesny against Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that he does not know the extent of the injury suffered by Jack Wilshere.
The England international midfielder picked up an ankle problem in the early minutes of the second half of the Premier League clash against Manchester United on Saturday.
The 22-year-old played on for the next few minutes but was eventually substituted in the 55th minute, as the Gunners went on to lose the encounter 2-1.
Another Arsenal player who picked up an injury at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday was goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, who collided with defender Kieran Gibbs in the build-up to United’s opening goal.
Wenger has assured the Gunners fans that the Poland international’s injury is not serious, despite him having to be replaced rightaway.
