The Gunners wanted to sign the 31-year-old Brazil international goalkeeper in the January transfer window.
The goalkeeper himself pushed hard for a transfer to Arsenal, but the two clubs could not agree on a fee.
Arsenal still want to sign the former Valencia star, who is keen on a move to the Emirates Stadium.
The Brazilian player’s agent is reportedly working on a deal to get the goalkeeper to Arsenal.

As you can see from the tweets below, Barcelona fans actually want Neto to join Arsenal.

Neto is the back-up goalkeeper at Barcelona and has not played much since he moved to Camp Nou in 2019.
The Barcelona no.13 made seven appearances in La Liga and three in the Champions League last season.
During the 2019-20 campaign, Neto played twice in the league and once in the Champions League.
