Goal journalist Charles Watts has said on his YouTube channel that Arsenal are hopeful of having Thomas Partey available for the match against Liverpool at Anfield.
Arsenal will take on Liverpool away from home at Anfield in the Premier League after the international break.
Watts said on his YouTube channel: “My understanding of it is that Arsenal are still hoping that he will be available for that Liverpool game, and this is a more precautionary thing that rather a serious injury.”
Thomas Partey injury
Partey did not play for Arsenal against Watford last weekend.
The former Atletico Madrid defensive midfielder missed the game due to a groin injury.
The 28-year-old was still called up to the Ghana squad for the international matches.
However, the Ghana international, who earns £200,000 per week as salary (Spotrac), is still at London Colney.

Encouraging for Arsenal
Arsenal are playing well at the moment and are seemingly in the race for the Premier League top four.
However, Liverpool will be a stern test for the Gunners.
After all, the Reds have one of the best squads in the world and are aiming to win the Premier League title this season.
A full-fit and available Partey would enhance Arsenal’s chances of picking up all three points against Liverpool at Anfield.
Partey has made six starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League so far this season.
