Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted on Twitter to rumours that Cristian Romero could be unveiled to supporters ahead of Sunday’s game against Arsenal.
The Evening Standard claim that Spurs could wrap up the deal for the £47 million player on Friday, as he is due to have his medical pretty soon.
On paper, Tottenham’s showdown against Arsenal will be a pre-season friendly, but of course, it will be far from that.
Before the game, Spurs fans will be hoping to celebrate their new signing and after the match, they will be hoping to have secured the win.
Nonetheless, Spurs supporters are glad that they are getting a deal for the Atalanta defender over the line and not waiting for transfer deadline day to do such deals.
