HITC understands that the bidding has opened for French starlet Desire Doue, whose future will be decided in the coming weeks.
German giants Bayern Munich have made the first move and submitted a bid for the 19-year-old Rennes midfielder.
HITC understands that Bayern’s opening offer is worth around €35million (£29million) but Rennes believe their young star is valued closer to €50million (£42million) in the current market.
Paris Saint-Germain are also pushing hard to sign Desire Doue and are ready to make an offer to rival Bayern Munich.
Bayern are also in talks with PSG’s Xavi Simons – but sources insist they want to strike deals for both Doue and Simons.
While Doue’s representatives have held talks with Bayern and PSG, HITC can also reveal they are in talks with a number of Premier League sides who are ready to join the bidding.
HITC sources have revealed that talks have taken place with Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and Newcastle United in recent weeks.

Desire Doue is willing to join the Premier League
Bayern Munich have made the opening move for the highly-rated youngster and PSG are prepared to join the race for his signature.
However, Doue’s team insist that he would move across the channel and join a Premier League side if there was a suitable enough offer this summer.
English clubs have been assessing Doue’s willingness to play in the Premier League and they are now ready to join the bidding war.
With Arsenal and Tottenham both looking to bolster their midfield this summer – the two North London rivals could find themselves going head-to-head for his signature.

As quoted by Goal, Doue has received high praise from manager Jose Alcocer during his time with the France youth squad.
“Desire reads the games well, he is calm and at ease on the pitch. He has a strong personality,” he said.
