Arsenal and Tottenham are reportedly one of six clubs to have held talks with Paulo Dybala since the striker’s failed attempt to sign a new contract with Juventus.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb reporter Giacomo Iacobellis, the two north London clubs have been in contact with the Argentine’s entourage, with PSG also interested in Dybala along with FC Barcelona, though Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid remain the favourites.

Dybala is set to leave Juventus this summer after the two parties were unable to agree on a new contract, with the £220,000-a-week attacker now set to depart Turin in the prime of his career much to the joy of both Arsenal and Tottenham.

Whilst a move to Inter or Atletico remains the most likely outcome, though, it is an encouraging update that Arsenal and Tottenham have been in touch with Dybala’s representatives, with the attacker someone who could flourish in the Premier League.

Moreover, with Arsenal and Tottenham both needing strikers this summer, the former Palermo star is an ideal option for either club, especially if they are looking to sign a superstar player in Dybala in the transfer window.

Indeed, this update is a positive one for Arsenal and Tottenham. Yet with Inter and Atletico in the lead and Mauricio Pochettino’s PSG also in the competition, Dybala could be out of reach for the north London clubs this summer.

The future of Dybala will be one of the biggest talking points this summer, yet for Arsenal and Tottenham, signs are not looking good in the long-term that the striker will end up in the Premier League.

Whilst the forward has been labelled as ‘complete’ by Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero, the likes of Atletico and Inter are much more suited to Dybala’s game than Arsenal or Tottenham, which will likely be the defining factor in who signs the Argentine this summer.
