Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur fans know plenty about Mislav Orsic – and he was really impressive for Croatia on Monday evening.
Tottenham saw Orsic extinguish their Europa League hopes with a stunning performance for Dinamo Zagreb, overturning a 2-0 deficit almost single-handedly.
Sportske Novosti then reported in March – just weeks after that Tottenham clash – that Arsenal were looking to sign Orsic this summer in a £13million deal.
Orsic changes the game for Croatia
Croatia played out a stunning clash with Spain on Monday evening, and threw on Orsic with 23 minutes to play whilst losing 2-1.
Ferran Torres made it 3-1, seemingly dumping Croatia out. Orsic turned the game on its head though, first scoring from close range before crossing for Mario Pasalic to head home a dramatic last-gasp equaliser.
Orsic remained a threat early in extra time, but Spain did prevail with a 5-3 win. One of the games of the tournament had a stunning end, and Orsic was a huge reason for that.

Arsenal and Tottenham fans rave about Orsic
Unsurprisingly, Orsic has earned huge praise on Twitter for his performance, with both Arsenal and Tottenham fans fighting over the 28-year-old winger.
Arsenal fans suggested that Orsic is a ‘serious baller’ and the Gunners should pay whatever is needed to get him to ‘the carpet’ this summer.
Tottenham supporters joined in, urging the club to sign Orsic having seen him destroy them and then impress at Euro 2020, believing he was ‘fantastic’ last night.
