According to Sportmediaset, reported Arsenal and Newcastle United target Luka Jovic is open to joining Italian side AC Milan this summer.

The Serbia international striker has been heavily linked with a move.

Jovic only joined Real Madrid from Eintracht Frankfurt one year ago for £52 million. However, he has struggled to make an impact, prompting speculation over his future.

According to an April report by 90Min, Arsenal, Newcastle United and Everton are keen.

Furthermore, a report last week by PianetaMilan claimed the Gunners would offer the striker a whopping £192,000 per week to move to the Emirates Stadium.

But now Premier League duo Arsenal and Newcastle may end up missing out.

The latest reports from Italy claim Jovic is open to joining Milan. The Serie A giants have fallen in recent years, but they are still a big pull for top players.

Milan are said to be proposing a two-year loan deal worth £6 million a year.

Sportmediaset add that Jovic’s agent Fali Ramadani represents Croatian Ante Rebic, and his presence in Milan will aid Jovic with the two players being good friends.

Jovic will be looking to put this past year behind him. The 22-year-old has made just four La Liga starts all term, with his last start coming back in October.

Arsenal may be looking at Jovic as a potential Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang replacement.

Newcastle, meanwhile, are in the middle of a Saudi billionaire takeover. The Magpies may feel Jovic, being young and out of favour in Madrid, would be an ideal addition.

The Premier League duo, however, may have to move quickly with Milan in pole position.
