Some Arsenal and Newcastle United fans have praised Emile Smith Rowe for his performance last night.
Smith Rowe was in action for Arsenal in their Premier League game against Newcastle at the Emirates Stadium in North London on Monday evening.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder has been playing well for the Gunners in recent weeks, and the Englishman had another good game against the Magpies, as Mikel Arteta’s side won 3-0.
The youngster provided an assist, was creative, linked up well with the other attacking players, and appeared to be a Mesut Ozil in the making.
According to WhoScored, Smith Rowe created four chances, had a pass accuracy of 87.3%, took 59 touches, attempted one dribble, and put in one cross.
Arsenal have been lacking creativity in recent times, but Smith Rowe is fast emerging as the player who can succeed Mesut Ozil in the long run.
One should remember that Smith Rowe is only 20 years of age, and he should not be put under too much pressure.
The youngster’s performance on Monday evening was so good that even some Newcastle fans were impressed.
