AS Roma will reportedly shoot down all transfer approaches for Tammy Abraham this summer, with Arsenal and Manchester United both reportedly interested in the striker.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A side are not even remotely thinking about offloading their star attacker in the transfer window, with Abraham having a sensational debut year in Italy under Jose Mourinho.

The former Chelsea star has bagged 23 goals in all competitions, and Abraham’s form has now caught the eyes of both Arsenal and United, with Manchester City also interested in the striker as per Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Daily Mail have recently reported that top Premier League clubs are open to signing Abraham this summer, with Roma valuing the forward at a staggering £100m, and following this latest update, Arsenal and United seemingly have no shot at signing the striker.

Indeed, both sides are eager to sign a new striker this summer, with Arsenal set to see both Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah depart north London with United needing a long-term option for the 36-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo.

Given Abraham’s form this season, the former Premier League star could have been ideal for either Arsenal or United this summer. However, with Roma’s stance now out in the open, the English duo should be looking at other targets.

Arsenal and United could find better value in the market than Abraham

At £100m, Abraham would be one of the most expensive players in the history of football. And whilst the forward has impressed this season, we can all agree that the Roma star does not warrant a fee this big in the slightest.

And for Arsenal and United, both clubs are smart enough to realise that there are better value for money players this summer than Abraham, with the Premier League giants likely to move for other players this summer given Roma’s asking price and stance on the striker.
