Arsenal and Liverpool are both interested in signing Brentford defender Aaron Hickey ahead of the January transfer window.
Brentford ace Aaron Hickey is wanted by the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool.
That is according to a report from The Mirror, who claim that Hickey is becoming a man in demand.
Hickey has had a pretty interesting career having gone from Heart of Midlothian to Celtic and then back to Hearts as a kid.
The Scot impressed in the Hearts first team and was given a shock move to Italy with Bologna back in 2020.
Hickey continued to shine in Italy and Brentford paid £14million to sign him last summer, luring him back to the UK.

Arsenal and Liverpool want Aaron Hickey
Hickey started 23 times last season and has now started all six of Brentford’s Premier League outings this season.
The 21-year-old appears to have done enough to earn interest from the Premier League’s top clubs ahead of the January transfer window.
It’s suggested that Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United all fancy signing Hickey and are preparing bids.
Brentford want a huge price tag though; they are ready to demand £50million for Hickey as they seek huge profit.
This is in-part impacted by Rico Henry’s season-ending injury.
Hickey may be right-footed but he is very comfortable on the left side and will play a key role moving forward.
Brentford can’t afford to lose Hickey on top of Henry’s injury and any interested club faces paying huge money.

Hickey fits the bill for Mikel Arteta
If there is one thing we know about Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, it’s that he likes players with real versatility.
Defenders like Ben White, Cedric Soares, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Jurrien Timber have played in multiple roles for Arsenal under Arteta.
Hickey fits a similar mould having played as a full back and as a wing both on both the left and right sides of defence.
Timber is currently out injured and Hickey may be seen as a player who can come in for the future and give Arteta an option he ultimately sees more value in than Kieran Tierney moving forward.
It’s hard to imagine Arsenal spending such a huge fee on Hickey in January but maybe this is one to keep an eye on for next summer.
