According to France Football, Arsenal, Aston Villa and Marseille are interested in signing Glen Kamara from Rangers in the summer transfer window.

The report in the French publication has also claimed of interest in the Rangers midfielder from Brighton and Hove Albion as well.

It has been claimed that Marseille will have to sell players before they can make a move for the Finland international, who is valued at between €8 million (£7.07m) and €10 million (£8.84m) by the Gers.

Important player for Rangers

Kamara joined Rangers from Dundee in January 2019 for a transfer fee reported by The Scottish Sun to be worth £50,000.

The 24-year-old has established himself as a very important player in the Gers’ team, with Rangers manager Steven Gerrard telling The Scottish Sun in November 2019 that the midfielder “can play at any level with the right players and style around him”.

Uncertainly in transfer market

Football in England and Scotland is suspended at the moment due to the global health crisis, while Ligue 1 in France has already been called.

It remains to be seen when the summer transfer window opens, and whether clubs will be willing to spend money on new players.
