The Arsenal man has been caught offside more than any other player in the Premier League so far.
Eleven games into the Premier League season and Arsenal are likely to be pleased with their work so far.
They sit fourth in the table, having won seven of their 11 games, and are just two points behind league leaders Liverpool.
One decision manager Arsene Wenger will be particularly pleased about is the one to move to Alexis Sanchez into a central striker role.

The Chilean has eight goals in all competitions to his name, making him the Gunners’ highest goal-scorer, while the effect that his move has had on the likes of Mesut Ozil and Theo Walcott has been notable.
It is fair to say Sanchez has taken to being the central striker rather well, but it seems there is one trick he is still struggling to get the hang of and that is staying onside.
| Team | Total Offside | Appearances | Mins Played | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Alexis Sánchez | Arsenal | 16 | 11 | 909 |
| Christian Benteke | C. Palace | 15 | 9 | 804 |
| Sam Vokes | Burnley | 15 | 11 | 917 |
| Zlatan Ibrahimovic | Man Utd | 13 | 11 | 990 |
So far this season no player has been caught offside more often than the Arsenal forward.

It has happened on 16 different occasions, one more than Crystal Palace’s Christian Benteke and Sam Vokes and three more than Manchester United’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Luckily, as Sanchez’s goal tally shows, it does not appear to have had too much of an effect but it will certainly be an area the Chilean will be keen to improve on moving forward.
