Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has earned enormous praise of late, and Ian Wright loved how he reacted to Leicester City fans on Saturday.
Ramsdale kept a clean sheet as Arsenal beat the Foxes 2-0 on Saturday afternoon. Gabriel Magalhaes and Emile Smith Rowe were the scorers, giving Arsenal the three points.
It could have been so very different if Ramsdale hadn’t been in goal for Arsenal.
Ramsdale made eight saves in a superb performance, including a world-class stop to somehow deny James Maddison’s first-half free kick.
After being mocked following his move to Arsenal, Ramsdale is proving many people wrong.
Wright loves Arsenal star Ramsdale’s reaction
Ramsdale has commanded his area brilliantly, been outstanding at playing out from the back and been a likeable character too.
One moment Arsenal fans loved on Saturday – outside of the Maddison save – was how Ramsdale reacted at the final whistle.

Leicester fans were attempting to put Ramsdale off as he prepared to take a goal kick, but the final whistle went immediately afterwards.
Ramsdale immediately turned to the Leicester fans to celebrate, somewhat goading the Foxes supporters in the process.
Pundit Wright absolutely loved it on Match of the Day, suggesting that Ramsdale’s ‘fantastic’ reaction was reminiscent of Jamie Vardy’s antics.
“This is brilliant, I just thought that was so good, that was fantastic – that was Jamie Vardy-esque,” said Wright.
