Tottenham Hotspur forward Brennan Johnson has praised the club’s fans on social media after the 2-2 draw with Arsenal.
Brennan Johnson loved what he heard from the Tottenham Hotspur supporters against Arsenal on Sunday.
Spurs headed to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon with Ange Postecoglou looking to land a big derby day win.
It wasn’t top be but Tottenham showed great fight to twice come back from behind and earn a 2-2 draw.
Son Heung-min twice found the net to give Tottenham a share of the spoils, again showing the progress under Postecoglou.
Brennan Johnson reacts to Tottenham fan support
It’s fair to say that Tottenham fans went absolutely wild for both goals, especially after Son’s second goal.
Arsenal had only just gone 2-1 up but Tottenham hit back immediately, sparking crazy scenes in the Spurs end.
Recent Tottenham signing Brennan Johnson started his first game for Spurs and seemingly loved the support from the travelling fans.
Johnson has taken to Instagram to post that the ‘away support was top’ as Spurs took a point home from the Emirates Stadium.
The Welshman thanked fans for their support whilst vowing to ‘keep pushing’ after a decent point against Tottenham’s bitter rivals.

Johnson injury latest
Johnson twice went close to scoring on his first Tottenham start, forcing two strong saves from David Raya.
However, Johnson had to go off with an injury in the second half, pulling up with what appeared to be a muscle problem.
There have been fears that Johnson suffered a serious hamstring injury and could miss a number of games in the coming weeks.
Football London suggest that Johnson has just suffered tightness in his hamstring rather than a pull or a tear, which is encouraging news for Spurs.
