Manchester City will reportedly have to pay Mino Raiola £47m if they are to sign Erling Haaland in 2022.
According to the Sun, the Italian super-agent will demand one of the highest agent fees in football history for the sale of his Norweigian client. Haaland is expected to leave Borussia Dortmund next year, and Raiola is set for a big payday.
As per the report, City are keen to sign the 21-year-old striker, with the attacker a top target to take over the striker position for Pep Guardiola’s side. Yet despite Raiola’s reported agent fee, the Premier League side remain eager on Haaland’s trail.
The striker is on the radar for many of Europe’s biggest clubs, and this transfer update revolving Raiola could put some teams off Haaland given how much the Italian is demanding.
Indeed, City have the financial demands to meet Raiola’s demands for Haaland. However, supporters on social media are livid with how much the striker’s representative wants for the youngster in 2022.
After all, £47m is a fee that could pay for a quality player for Guardiola’s squad. And whilst City have a virtually unlimited pit of money to spend, this price is ridiculous for an agent.
