Arnaut Danjuma has posted on Twitter ‘Nothing worth having comes easy’ after the on-loan Villarreal star earned some much-needed minutes for Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
Under Antonio Conte, for one reason or another, Arnaut Danjuma only played 11 Premier League minutes, this is despite scoring in his first appearance for the club when Spurs beat Preston North End in the FA Cup.
There was a lot of noise around Danjuma’s transfer to north London in January because Sean Dyche’s Everton thought they had him through their doors.

But, at the very last minute, Spurs came swooping in and you have to question who made that call and whether or not he was a Conte signing – Jamie O’Hara certainly thinks the Italian didn’t want him.
Judging by the minutes the 26-year-old was getting, the answer to that is probably ‘a big fat no’, but with Cristian Stellini now calling the shots, hopefully, for Danjuma’s sake, those minutes will increase.
But after coming off the bench during Tottenham’s win over Brighton, and ahead of their weekend clash against Bournemouth, this is what Danjuma posted on his socials.
WILL DANJUMA GET A START?
Whilst Son Heung-min was back to his goalscoring ways again against Brighton, there is still a starting spot in which Danjuma could possibly take ahead of the visit of his former club.
Dejan Kulusevski’s form has fallen off in recent months, since returning from the World Cup, he has only scored and assisted once.
Perhaps a place on the bench would help fire up the Sweden international and build that competition in the forward areas to get Tottenham towards Champions League football.
