Celtic youngster has been in impressive form for the development side over the past year.

Armstrong Oko-Flex’s impressive under-20 performances for Celtic were rewarded with a call-up to the first team squad at the end of the season.

The former Arsenal talent is now training with Celtic’s first team in Austria and is keen to make a good impression.

Oko-Flex told Celtic’s official website: “”After featuring on the bench last year, I’m even more hungry for it now.

“There’s a lot of competition in the first-team squad, which is good, and that’s even more motivation for me to work harder and show the manager that I can play for the Celtic first-team.”

Time is on Oko-Flex’s side, he only turned 17-years-old in March.

The young midfielder is doing well to even be considered for a first team role at this point, and along with Karamoko Dembele, Celtic have two of the brightest young talents in Britain.

Celtic will look to manage him wisely, and pre-season is a big chance for Oko-Flex to state his case.

If he performs strongly with the chances he gets, calls for him to become first team player will build.

He is saying the right things, talking about motivation and hard work. It doesn’t seem like he is resting on his laurels at all.
