Some Argentina fans who were denied visas for the World Cup have been offered free televisions by an Argentine company so they can watch the tournament from home.
The promotion was launched by Newsan through its Noblex brand before the start of the 2026 World Cup.
It gave eligible supporters the chance to receive a free 32-inch television if they could prove their visa application had been rejected.
Argentina fans denied visas offered free TVs

The promotion was set out in the official Noblex terms and conditions, with Newsan named as the organiser.
The company said the benefit consisted of one 32-inch Noblex television per person, subject to verification of the required documents.
The stock assigned to the main prize was limited to 100 units.
Participants had to present original documents to qualify. Those included an Argentine passport and an official document showing that a visa had been rejected by the United States Embassy or Canada.
The rejection document had to have been issued between 1 January 2026 and 10 June 2026.
The promotion did not require a purchase, according to the same terms. Once the 100 televisions had been allocated, Noblex also listed 50 discount coupons as a secondary benefit.
The offer was due to be handled at Newsan’s office in Buenos Aires on 10 June 2026, the day before the tournament began.
Promotion comes as World Cup begins across North America
The 2026 World Cup is being hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada.
FIFA says the tournament runs from 11 June to 19 July 2026 and features 48 teams.
The travel context is central to the promotion. The US Department of State says fans from countries outside the Visa Waiver Program are required to have a valid B1/B2 visitor visa to travel to the United States for the World Cup.
That made the rejected visa documents more than just paperwork for some supporters. They became the requirement for a television aimed at fans watching from Argentina instead of travelling to North America.
The offer was limited, and it did not apply to every supporter whose travel plans were affected. But for those who met the conditions, a failed visa application was turned into a way to follow the tournament from home.
