Speaking on his YouTube channel, Rio Ferdinand has hit back at claims that Jack Grealish may not even be taken to the Euros this summer.
With the tournament just around the corner Ferdinand was speaking with his co-hosts about who will be going to the Euros, and he one of them suggested that Grealish may not even be selected.
Ferdinand was fuming with the idea of the Aston Villa star being left at home, replying:
“Are you mad? If he doesn’t take Grealish then I’m not going to the Euros, I’m not doing nothing, I’m turning off the Euros. I’m not having that.”

To be fair, we can understand where Ferdinand’s anger is coming from.
Grealish has arguably been the best English player in the Premier League this season, so the idea of him not going to the Euros is ludicrous.
Admittedly, there is a lot of competition in his position with the likes of Mason Mount, Phil Foden and James Maddison competing for a spot, but Grealish is still good enough to get in ahead of those.
He has been injured lately, so that could play a part in Southgate not picking him, but we can’t help but feel that the England manager would be making a massive mistake if he left Grealish at home.
