Wolves are rivalling Leeds for Aleksandar Prijovic.

Poland’s SuperExpress exclusively reported Wolves’ interest, and it will certainly come as a blow to the Whites.
This is because right now, Wolves are a superior option in every regard for the forward.
Firstly, Wolves can afford to pay PAOK’s 10 million release clause (£8.8m) for his services, and have already paid higher amounts in the last year.
Leeds haven’t broken the £4 million barrier for more than a decade.
Their greater financial power also presents Wolves with a bigger wage budget and can offer Prijovic a more tempting package.

Wolves are importantly set for promotion to the Premier League, as runaway Championship leaders.
This will provide Prijovic with a bigger stage, and enhance his international ambitions.
He has seven caps for Serbia and scored once, but his goal was a crucial one, netting the strike which sealed their qualification for the 2018 World Cup.

Leeds are a club with plenty to offer, and have stability under new owner Andrea Radrizzani.
But the Italian has made only a modest investment in the transfer market, and Wolves’ interest in Prijovic could well see him walk away.
It would take a big leap in strategy for Leeds to seal a move for Prijovic ahead of Wolves, while for the Championship owners, it would be ‘just another deal.’
