Are West Ham United going to see the best of Diafra Sakho?

Diafra Sakho scored his first goal of the Premier League season for West Ham United on Saturday – but it won’t be his last if Slaven Bilic gives him chances.
The Senegal hitman came off the bench to grab a last-minute winner in the 1-0 victory over Swansea City at the London Stadium this past weekend.
The 27-year-old did his best to leave West Ham in August and had agreed personal terms with Rennes ahead of a deadline-day move, but Bilic pulled the plug.

But a prolific next three months with the Irons would see Sakho court interest from more exciting suitors than Rennes and it would enable him to get a better move when the January transfer window opens.
Sakho has already proven himself useful this season and has three goals from two starts across all competitions, having scored twice in the League Cup win over Bolton Wanderers in September.

But it might well be in everyone’s interest if Bilic gave the unpopular marksman more chances in the Premier League. He is yet to start a league match and although a lot of West Ham fans don’t like him, they can’t deny he knows where the goal is.
With regular opportunities up front, Sakho, with the motivation to secure a good move in January, could give the Hammers his best-ever form for the rest of the calendar year.
