Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Manchester United’s Anthony Martial recently.
Tottenham Hotspur fans are understandably excited about rumours in the Daily Mirror, which suggest that they wish to sign Manchester United winger Anthony Martial – but some at White Hart Lane may be less enthused about the links.
Tottenham have been linked with moves for both Martial and Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe recently, with Pochettino looking to strengthen his attacking line-up.
And the transfer links suggest that Pochettino may be starting to lose faith in the likes of Georges Kevin N’Koudou and, perhaps, even Erik Lamela.

N’Koudou was brought to Spurs last summer, but he has struggled to make an impact during his first season with the North London club.
Lamela, meanwhile, was expected to flourish this term – but he has been unable to make it off the treatment table.
The Argentine winger has missed the bulk of the campaign with injury, and his recovery has been a drawn out process.
And if Spurs do bring in Martial, it would be hard to see exactly where Lamela would fit in.

Of course, Tottenham have been linked with high profile players in the build up to previous transfer windows and nothing has come of it, but Pochettino seems determined to add a new attacker when the window reopens.
And while that would undoubtedly be good news for supporters of the Lilywhites, the Frenchman’s potential arrival may leave the likes of Lamela and N’Koudou waiting nervously to find out whether they are still wanted at White Hart Lane.
