Are Tottenham Hotspur about to miss out on Jorginho as Manchester City deal edges closer?

Tottenham Hotspur may well be in the market for a central midfielder this summer.
Doubts continue to surround Mousa Dembele’s future in North London, while Moussa Sissoko, an option for Mauricio Pochettino in the middle, could also leave Spurs.
According to The Daily Mail, Tottenham are interested in signing Napoli sensation Jorginho, but are they about to miss out on the brilliant midfielder?
Sky Sports reported on Monday that Manchester City were closing in on a £46.5 million deal for him.

The report adds that no deal has been agreed as of yet, but it certainly looks like City, not Tottenham or Liverpool, will be winning the race to sign the 26-year-old.
Liverpool don’t need him as much anymore since signing Fabinho from Monaco, but Pochettino could absolutely do with someone of Jorginho’s talents.
But the window of opportunity is slowly but surely closing and Spurs fans will be hoping that the Italy international doesn’t light up the Premier League with the Sky Blues if he does join.
