Jose Enrique offered just a three-word, yet shocked, reaction on Twitter to Bayern Munich seemingly putting in an opening offer of £21 million for Liverpool’s Sadio Mane.
It has become well-documented that one of Liverpool’s key forwards wants to head for the Merseyside exit door this summer.
Whilst Mane has since backtracked on these claims, he even came out and now jokingly claimed that the majority of the Senegalese people want him to leave Merseyside.
Whatever happens with the 29-year-old this summer, one thing is for sure, he is a club legend and his name is now etched in history forever.
But when The Times reported that Bayern’s opening offer for Mane was £21 million, with £4 million in add-ons, that’s dependent on the German champions winning the Champions League.
Nonetheless, this was Enrique’s reaction to that rumour coming out about Mane.

RHIAN BREWSTER COST MORE…REMEMBER HIM?
Liverpool are the kings of selling players for more than their market value is and that’s some going when the transfer market itself is inflated.
Rhian Brewster is the prime example when he was sold to Sheffield United for £23.5 million in 2020 (BBC Sport).
So, effectively, what Bayern are saying is that Mane, who is at the peak of his powers, has Premier League and Champions League medals to his name, is worth less than Brewster.
In a way, the Reds are being played at their own game because this is something they are very good at and could probably pull off.
But, one thing is for sure, those in the Anfield boardroom will be demanding a lot more if they have to part ways with one of their prized assets this summer.
