West Ham United have fallen well below the standards they set themselves last term.

The Hammers have had to endure an extremely disappointing campaign so far this term, with the majority of the squad experiencing campaigns well below their usual standards.
And as much as Slaven Bilic deserves the criticism he has received for his poor player recruitment last summer, the West Ham players surely have to take responsibility for the manner in which they have underperformed.
Here are three players who really have failed to live up to last season’s efforts:
Mark Noble:
The 29-year-old club captain has really struggled this term.
His passing has been ineffectively impotent, with low confidence levels affecting his ability to influence his team’s performances.
The pedestrian like manner in which he has gone about his business has been seen by many as a sign of Noble’s gradual decline, and his drop in performance levels have certainly hurt the Hammers’ chances of success this year.

Aaron Cresswell:
The left-back suffered a serious injury before the season even began, and has been woeful since his reintegration into the first-team fold.
The 27-year-old has looked well off the pace, and has been at fault for too many of the goals his side have conceded this term.
And he will need to find his best form again sooner rather than later, if he is to be considered for the England national team.

Jonathan Calleri:
The Argentine was brought into the club on a season long loan last summer, but has turned out to be nothing other than a total flop.
He has scored just one goal in 12 outings for West Ham, and is quite clearly not suited to the robust nature of the Premier League.
