Leeds United appointed Garry Monk as their new manager earlier today.

After Garry Monk’s appointment at Leeds United was confirmed earlier today, we take a look at the first three signings he should make.
Liam Bridcutt

Sunderland have already expressed a desire to let Bridcutt go, and Leeds fans have seen how important he could be at Elland Road.
Bridcutt impressed while on loan with Leeds last season, where he performed a key role in the centre of their midfield.
The former Brighton man has stated that he would be open to a return to Leeds, and Monk should look to do a permanent deal, which would certainly go down well with fans of the Yorkshire club.
Kyle Bartley

One the positions where Leeds desperately need strengthening is at centre-back and Bartley would fit in well.
Bartley has shown signs of promise, but he has failed to break into Swansea’s starting line-up.
He is a player who Monk knows well, from his time in charge at the Liberty Stadium, and he would surely be an upgrade on Leeds’ current centre-back options.
Kemar Roofe

If Leeds are really serious about promotion they are going to have to spend, and Roofe’s arrival would show that they mean business.
The Oxford United youngster is one of the most sought after players in the Football League and would increase Leeds’ firepower.
Roofe scored 26 goals last season, and would be the perfect foil for Chris Wood up-front.
