The pair have been regulars for Leeds United’s development squad this season.
Have Luke Murphy and Toumani Diagouraga returned to Garry Monk’s thoughts after missing Leeds United Under-23s’ trip to Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday lunchtime?
The midfield pair have been regulars for Jason Blunt’s side this season, although neither were involved as the Whites fell to a 2-0 defeat against the Owls at Middlewood Road.
Diagouraga has not featured for Leeds since their opening day defeat to Queens Park Rangers, while Murphy’s only appearance of the campaign came during the EFL Cup win over Luton Town later in August.

And though neither have appeared in a matchday squad since then, their unwanted runs could come to an end against Reading on Tuesday evening.
Leeds are already without Kalvin Phillips through suspension, while Eunan O’Kane is struggling with a groin injury and Liam Bridcutt has only just returned from a lay-off of his own – leaving Matt Grimes and Alex Mowatt on standby to partner Ronaldo Vieira against the Royals.

But don’t be surprised to see Murphy, Diagouraga or both on the Whites’ bench at Elland Road.
