Are Leeds United too light in central midfield?

Leeds United may be paying the price for not addressing the central midfield position in the summer.
While Kalvin Phillips and Mateusz Klich are outstanding players in the middle, keeping the pair and not strengthening may not be enough.
The Whites are beginning to look light on options, and this was particularly evident in the defeat to Charlton Athletic.
Leeds began with Jamie Shackleton, who has been deputising for Adam Forshaw. The youngster struggled, and then when Forshaw came on to replace him, Leeds did not improve.
Both Shackleton and Forshaw are tidy players, and the latter has stepped his game up this season. But are they enough?
Beyond them, who else could Leeds call upon to help run the game and make an impact?
