Leeds United are one of several clubs linked with a move for the Brighton & Hove Albion striker.
Brighton striker Tomer Hemed
Leeds United could be set for a breakthrough in their alleged pursuit of Brighton & Hove Albion striker Tomer Hemed, amid a flurry of potential incomings at the Amex Stadium.
But while Hemed may have entered the final year of his deal Brighton, the Seagulls are seemingly reluctant to offload – having knocked back a bid from Reading last month, according to The Reading Chronicle.

Their stance is somewhat understandable, given the 30-year-old is one of only three recognised strikers on Albion’s books, with another one, Sam Baldock, currently sidelined.
But after reports this week suggested as many as three new players could soon arrive in Hemed’s position, his departure – to Leeds or other – seems to be growing inevitable.
According to The Argus, FC Zurich’s Raphael Dwamena will find out on Friday whether or not he’s been granted a work permit to sign for Brighton, while The Sun reports the Seagulls will agree a deal for Everton’s Oumar Niasse.

And that’s not all, with The Mirror claiming that young Swede Victor Gyokeres is also en route from Brommapojkarna (00:04).
