Chris Wood joined Burnley from Leeds United in the summer transfer window.

Every team goes through a bad spell, and it seems that Leeds United are going through theirs at the moment.
After a stunning start to the 2017-18 Championship campaign, the Whites have lost their last three league fixtures.
The West Yorkshire outfit have actually failed to score in their last two Championship matches, which they have lost 3-0 at Sheffield Wednesday and 1-0 to Reading at Elland Road.

Pierre-Michel Lasogga played against both Wednesday and Reading, but the German striker – signed on a season-long loan deal from Hamburg in the summer transfer window – could not score.
The 25-year-old’s performances were not encouraging either, and although it would be unfair to blame him for the defeats, there is no doubt that the striker seems to be slowing down after a strong start to life at Elland Road.
Three goals and two assists in six Championship appearances is still a good record, but if Lasogga is to successfully replace Chris Wood at Leeds in the long run, then he needs to be more consistent and score goals even when he is not playing well.

Wood did not play well in every match last season, but the New Zealand international striker still scored consistently to bag 27 goals in the league and deservedly earned the move to Burnley in the summer transfer window.
Leeds fans may not have been missing the 25-year-old initially, as comments on social networking site Twitter subsequently reported by HITC Sport suggest, but are they missing him now? And will they look back on this season and wish that the striker had remained at Elland Road?
The former Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion striker is thriving in the Premier League. Wood has scored three goals in five league starts for Burnley, and his strikes were important too.
The New Zealand international scored against Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United to help the Clarets to draws and found the winner against Crystal Palace.
For Lasogga to effectively replace Wood, the German striker will have to score such important goals in important matches as the season progresses.
