Leeds United and Swansea City are reportedly interested in signing Valencia’s Alvaro Negredo in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Leeds head coach Thomas Christiansen is ready to pay the £6.4 million transfer fee that Valencia want in order to part company with the 31-year-old striker.
However, Swansea City are also interested in signing the former Manchester City striker, according to The Mirror.

Leeds are one of the biggest clubs in England and have a strong following, but the Whites are in the Championship at the moment.
Would Negredo really be willing to play in the second tier of English football when he could play for Swansea in the Premier League?

Given that the Spain international is 31 years of age, the striker would be confident in his ability to play at the very highest level for a few more years at least.
It would be better for Leeds if they move on from their (reported) pursuit of Negredo and look elsewhere for a striker.
