Everton were said to have entered negotiations with Chelsea over Kurt Zouma.

Everton have recently been linked with moves for both Armando Izzo and Diego Llorente, and that could be a sign that their negotiations for Kurt Zouma are not going well.

Gianluca Di Marzio claim that Everton are prepared to offer £22.5 million for Izzo, while Noticias De Gipuzkoa in Spain say that Everton are stepping up their pursuit of Llorente of Real Sociedad.

The two transfer reports come just days after Everton entered discussions over bringing Zouma back from Chelsea.

The Telegraph suggested that Everton want Zouma on a permanent deal from Chelsea, after he impressed on loan at Goodison Park last term.

But Everton being linked with two more centre-backs since those discussions with Zouma started doesn’t look like good news.

With Chelsea facing a transfer ban, Everton were always going to be hard pushed to prise Zouma away from the London side, even though The Sun claimed that they would be willing to pay £30 million for the Frenchman.

And it may be that recent transfer reports of Everton’s interest in Llorente and Izzo prove that Marco Silva is now looking at other targets.
