Swansea City’s Gylfi Sigurdsson is reportedly wanted by Everton in the summer transfer window.
“Gylfi Sigurdsson remains Everton’s priority, and Koeman said that he was hoping for “good news” today in his long-standing pursuit of the £50 million-rated Swansea City midfielder,” states the report in The Times.

Could Sigurdsson be about to switch from Swansea to Everton? It certainly seems so, and it is only going to be good for the Toffees.
The 27-year-old is a very good attacking midfielder, and given that he is in his prime at the moment, he would be a brilliant signing for the Merseyside outfit.

Everton have been quite busy in the summer transfer window so far and have signed a number of players, including goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and defender Michael Keane.
Bringing in Sigurdsson would only enhance Koeman’s side’s chances of breaking into the top six of the Premier League this season and perhaps even challenge for the Champions League places.
